If you have recently left the armed forces, it can take time to find local health services. We can help you understand where to go and how to get the support you need in South Lanarkshire.

Local NHS services

South Lanarkshire is covered by two NHS areas:

• HS Greater Glasgow and Clyde – covers Rutherglen
• NHS Lanarkshire – covers the rest of South Lanarkshire

Both websites can help you find:

• GP practices
• dentists
• pharmacies
• opticians
• health centres and accident and emergency departments

They also offer advice on:

• healthy eating
• alcohol and smoking
• mental health and sexual health
