If you're just back on civvy street finding a doctor or a dentist can be a daunting prospect.
The South Lanarkshire area has two NHS boards - NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde covers the Rutherglen area while NHS Lanarkshire covers everywhere else.
Both of these sites will tell you where to find your nearest A&E department, GP practice, dentist, pharmacy, health centre and optician.
Both sites also have information about healthy eating, alcohol, smoking and sexual and mental health.
