MyBus

MyBus can help if you can't use or have difficulty using standard bus services.

What it is

It's a door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible bus service that you book in advance by phone.

What you can use it for

It can be used for shopping, doctor and health centre appointments, visiting friends and hospital visits (but not hospital appointments). It can also meet you from train stations that have wheelchair access.

The driver can help you on and off the bus but not into or out of your home. You can take along a friend to help you though.

What you need to use it

Before using the service you must hold a Strathclyde Concessionary travel card and register with the MyBus service.

How much it costs

It is free for Scottish Citizens' National Entitlement Card or a Companion Card. The price will be confirmed at the time of travel for escorts, escorts with companion card holders and children aged five to 15.

More information and application forms are available from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport offices or by phoning the SPT 0141 333 4584 or 0345 128 4025.
