As a Home Carer within our Care at Home service, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Community Nurses, and Social Care professionals to support, motivate and inspire people to re-learn daily skills and enhance their quality of life. We give employees the opportunity to develop skills in a supported and professional environment and make a real difference to the lives of others.

Positions available

We have vacancies throughout South Lanarkshire, full-time and part-time. 

Your starting hourly pay will be at least £12.76 and we will pay your Scottish Social Services Council fees.

Most of our staff work the following two-week rolling shift pattern:

We have a variety of contracted hours available to suit your circumstances:

Contracted hours Hours of work
17.5 5 hours working in the morning or backshift
21 6 hours working in the morning or backshift
24.5 7 hours working in the morning or backshift (includes 30 minutes unpaid break)
28 8 hours working from the morning into the afternoon, or afternoon into the evening (includes 30 minutes unpaid break)
35 Split shift of 5 hours in the morning and 5 hours in the evening

We also have weekend-only positions available as follows:

Contracted hours Hours of work
12 Weekend only: 6 hours working in the morning or backshift
10 Weekend only: Split shift of 5 hours in the morning and 5 hours in the evening

For all shifts:

  • The morning shift can start between 7am and 8am
  • Backshift can end between 9pm and 11pm
