Freedom of information law gives everyone the right to access information held by Scottish public authorities.
About the Scottish Information Commissioner
The Scottish Information Commissioner is an independent public official who is responsible for promoting and enforcing Scotland’s freedom of information law.
If you are unhappy with our response
If you are not satisfied with our reply to your information request, you can ask us to review our decision.
If you still disagree
If you are unhappy after our review, you can apply to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
If you are unhappy with the Commissioner's decision, you can appeal to the Court of Session (but only on a point of law).
