The Citizens Advice Bureau is a voluntary organisation working closely within the local community to meet local people's needs, offering free and impartial advice on financial or legal problems, including debt and money advice, working out benefit entitlements, employment issues such as minimum wage and unfair dismissal, consumer advice, housing, homelessness, mortgage arrears, immigration and seeking asylum in the UK. CAB can also put you in touch with other agencies and organisations who have more specialised information and support facilities.

Our drop-in service runs from Monday to Thursday, 9:30am – 3pm

We currently hold 5 outreach centres open at various times across the Clydesdale area. They are held on: Monday at Coalburn One Stop Shop (1pm - 4pm); Tuesday at Douglas - St Brides Community Centre (9.30am – 12pm); Wednesday at Kirkmuirhill – Thornton Road Community Flat (10am – 12pm); Thursday at Forth Community Resource Centre (10am - 12pm); Friday at Biggar – Library (9:30am – 11:30am)
Disabled access
There is parking for disabled people and level access to the rear of the building with an accessible reception area and facilities all on the ground floor.
