We inspect and repair roads across South Lanarkshire to keep them safe. If you hit a pothole or spot damage, it does not always mean we can pay compensation. We prioritise repairs based on risk and available budget, so we cannot fix everything straight away.

How we manage repairs

We maintain over 1,530 miles of road and carry out regular safety inspections. When we find defects, we repair them as soon as we can, focusing first on the most urgent issues.
