What happens when you make a claim?

All claims we get are passed to our claims handlers, Gallagher Bassett.

They will:

• write to you to confirm they have received your claim
• investigate the claim and look at all of the relevant facts

When you will get a decision

Gallagher Bassett will write to you with their decision. On average it takes approximately three months for a decision to be made on property/vehicle damage claims and around nine months for injury claims; however each claim is assessed on an individual basis and it may take longer than this.
