Three community groups granted almost £1500 by Area Committee

At yesterday’s Cambuslang and Rutherglen Area Committee (via Microsoft Teams) grants totalling £1,436 were awarded.
The community grants approved were:

Cambuslang Community Council - £600 for an Environmental project

Enable (Rutherglen and District Branch) - £486 for entrance fees

Cambuslang Remembrance Garden Group - £350 for equipment
Grants are awarded if they benefit the community by bringing people together for educational, recreational, leisure or other activities including improvements to the local environment.
The council’s four Area Committees meet regularly throughout the year to hear community grant applications.
