Full list of South Lanarkshire Councillors following election

Councillors have now been elected to represent South Lanarkshire Council.

Following the Scottish Local Government elections last week, there are 64 councillors representing 20 wards across the area.

The first full meeting of the Council is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 18 May, when the Provost and Council Leader will be decided.

In Ward 1, Clydesdale West, the Councillors elected were Poppy Corbett (Scottish Conservative and Unionist), Lynsey Hamilton (Labour and Co-operative Party), Eileen Logan (Scottish Labour Party) and David Shearer (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 2, Clydesdale North, the Councillors elected were Richard Eliott-Lockhart (Scottish Conservative and Unionist), Julia Marrs (Scottish National Party) and Catherine McClymont (Scottish Labour Party).

In Ward 3, Clydesdale East, the Councillors elected were Alex Allison (Scottish Conservative and Unionist), Ralph Barker (Scottish Labour Party) and Ian McAllan (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 4, Clydesdale South, the Councillors elected were Ross Gowland (Scottish Labour Party), Mark Horsham (Scottish National Party) and Ross Lambie (Scottish Conservative and Unionist).

In Ward 5, Avondale and Stonehouse, the Councillors elected were Margaret Cooper (Independent), Elise Frame (Scottish National Party) and Susan Kerr (Scottish Labour Party).

In Ward 6, East Kilbride South, the Councillors elected were Archie Buchanan (Scottish National Party), Matthew Buchanan (Labour and Co-operative Party) and Geri Gray (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 7, East Kilbride Central South, the Councillors elected were John Anderson (Scottish National Party), Gerry Convery (Scottish Labour Party) and Elaine McDougall (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 8, East Kilbride Central North, the Councillors elected were Joe Fagan (Scottish Labour Party), Grant Ferguson (Scottish National Party) and Hugh McDonald (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 9, East Kilbride West, the Councillors elected were Monique McAdams (Labour and Co-operative Party), Ali Salamati (Scottish National Party) and David Watson (Independent).

In Ward 10, East Kilbride East, the Councillors elected were Gladys Ferguson-Miller (Scottish National Party), Kirsten Robb (Scottish Green Party) and Graham Scott (Scottish Labour Party).

In Ward 11, Rutherglen South, the Councillors elected were Robert Brown (Scottish Liberal Democrats), Margaret Cowie (Labour and Co-operative Party) and Carol Nugent (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 12, Rutherglen Central and North, the Councillors elected were Janine Calikes (Scottish National Party), Andrea Cowan (Scottish National Party) and Martin Lennon (Scottish Labour Party).

In Ward 13, Cambuslang West, the Councillors elected were John Bradley (Scottish National Party), Norman Rae (Scottish Liberal Democrats) and Margaret Walker (Scottish Labour Party)

In Ward 14, Cambuslang East, the Councillors elected were Walter Brogan (Scottish Labour Party), Alistair Fulton (Scottish National Party) and Katy Loudon (Scottish National Party).

In ward 15, Blantyre, the Councillors elected were Maureen Chalmers (Scottish National Party), Mo Razzaq (Scottish Labour Party) and Bert Thomson (Scottish Labour Party).

In Ward 16, Bothwell and Uddingston, the Councillors elected were Cal Dempsey (Scottish National Party), Maureen Devlin (Scottish Labour Party) and Kenny McCreary (Scottish Conservative and Unionist).

In ward 17, Hamilton North and East, the Councillors elected were Colin Dewar (Scottish National Party), Martin Hose (Scottish Conservative and Unionist) and Davie McLachlan (Labour and Co-operative Party).

In Ward 18, Hamilton West and Earnock, the Councillors elected were Mary Donnelly (Scottish National Party), Allan Falconer (Scottish Labour Party), Graeme Horne (Scottish National Party) and Mark McGeever (Scottish Liberal Democrats).

In Ward 19, Hamilton South, the Councillors elected were Celine Handibode (Scottish Labour Party), Gavin Keatt (Scottish Labour Party), John Ross (Scottish National Party) and Helen Toner (Scottish National Party).

In Ward 20, Larkhall, the Councillors elected were Andy Carmichael (Scottish Labour Party), Ross Clark (Scottish National Party) Lesley McDonald (Scottish Labour Party) and Richard Nelson (Scottish Conservative and Unionist).
