St Mary’s Primary School Parent Council made the request, which was fulfilled by Findel, who provide education resource brands and products, school essentials and innovative resources across the world.

St Mary’s Parent Council Funding Officer Clare Traynor said: “We are incredibly grateful to have been awarded a mobile defibrillator by the Community Wish List through South Lanarkshire Council.

“This generous gift has had a profound impact on our school and the entire community.

“With a bustling student body and a host of activities taking place throughout the day, having a mobile defibrillator on-site has transformed our ability to respond to medical emergencies.

“The presence of this device has instilled a sense of confidence among our school, knowing that we are equipped to handle sudden cardiac incidents effectively.

“It's more than just a piece of equipment; it's a symbol that has united us all in our commitment to each other's safety and well-being.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the Community Wish List for making this impactful change possible.”
