Springhall to host Family Fun Day this April
Published: Thursday 9 April 2026
Families across South Lanarkshire are invited to come along to a free Fun Day taking place at Springhall Community Centre next weekend.
There will be plenty to see and do from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 18 April, with activities designed to appeal to younger children and families alike.
Highlights include Bookbug sessions hosted by library services, offering stories, songs and rhymes for little ones, as well as an opportunity to discover more about local library resources.
For those looking for something more active, South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture’s Development Team will be running archery sessions, giving participants the chance to try their hand at this fun and challenging sport in a safe environment.
Meanwhile, the Museums team will be bringing along a selection of traditional and old-fashioned games, providing a nostalgic experience for adults and a chance for children to explore how people used to play in years gone by.
In addition to the organised activities, there will be face painting, temporary tattoos and balloon modelling, ensuring there’s something to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
The event is free to attend and aims to bring the community together for a day of fun, creativity and activity. All are welcome to come along and join in.
