Consultation is now underway on the plan, which sets out the council’s vision and values, and priorities for the future. 

You can take part in the online survey, which is opened until the end of September 2026. More information is available on the council website.

Council Chief Executive Paul Manning said: “Connect is a key document which helps guide how we plan and deliver services across South Lanarkshire.

“It is a plan for the future, and we are keen to hear the views of individuals and communities across South Lanarkshire.

“They will help shape the key priorities for the council for the next five years.

“Once the initial consultation finishes, officials will draft the new plan for the five-year period from 2027-2032.

“There will then be another period of consultation on this draft in early 2027, allowing everyone another chance to engage with the process.”
