As VisitScotland’s Regional Director for Glasgow City Region, Lynne’s role is focused on driving growth in the visitor economy across the eight local authority areas of South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Glasgow City.

Lynne works with a number of partners and stakeholders across the Glasgow City Region, supporting regional economic strategies as well as place and destination development priorities.

VisitScotland is the national tourism and events organisation with a strategic focus to make Scotland a must-visit, must-return destination while delivering the very best for our visitors, our businesses, our people and communities and our environment.

Prior to joining VisitScotland in November 2023, Lynne spent 12 years with the national economic development agency, Scottish Enterprise and brings over 20 years’ experience of working in the public sector.
