Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub – Funding
Climate Festival Grant closes soon. Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival is returning on 8-21 September 2025 and Lanarkshire Climate Action Hub is offering grant funding of up to £250 to support community groups and organisations to host events as part of the festival. This is an opportunity for groups across Lanarkshire to showcase the great work they do all while talking climate action. Each group/organisation can choose exactly the type of event they would like to host. The only criteria are that the event takes place during Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival and the event/activity enables local climate conversations and/or raises interest in climate action in the local community. Examples of events or activities, one could host include litter picks, film screenings, swapping events (e.g. clothes, tools, seeds etc.), nature walks, bike maintenance workshops, climate-friendly cooking classes and more. Applications are now open, and applications will be assessed on an ongoing basis. Deadline for applying for the grant funding is 31 May 2025. For more information and to apply, please visit-
