Housing performance information

Housing performance and results

We publish clear information about how our housing and homelessness services are performing. This page explains what we measure, why it matters, and where you can find the latest reports. By sharing this information openly, we help residents understand our progress and how we are working to improve access to good quality housing across South Lanarkshire.

Our plan and what we are working to achieve

Our council plan, Connect, sets out what we aim to deliver between 2022 and 2027. The plan focuses on improving the quality of life for everyone who lives here. Our priorities link closely together, so progress in one area supports progress in others. We work alongside local partners to deliver these priorities and improve outcomes for residents.

How we report on progress

Each year, we publish annual performance spotlights. These give a short, easy‑to‑read summary of how we are doing against the Connect objectives.

Alongside the spotlights, we publish public performance reports for specific services. These reports go into more detail and explain:

  • what we set out to do
  • what we achieved
  • where we need to do better

Housing and homelessness performance

Our Housing and Homelessness performance shows how we are working to:

  • improve access to housing
  • raise the quality of homes
  • support people who are homeless or at risk

It uses straightforward measures so you can see what is working well and where improvements are planned.

Housing charter performance

We also publish Housing Charter performance information. This shows how well we meet national standards for housing services, including repairs, tenant satisfaction and home quality. It helps tenants see how services perform and how we are held to account.
