As part of Challenge Poverty Week, a series of events and activities are taking place across South Lanarkshire to raise awareness, share information, and bring communities together. Each day features opportunities to hear from local organisations, access support, and connect with others. Whether you drop in to an event, take part in a workshop, or simply want to find out more, there’s something happening every day to get involved with.

Connected EK, A space to talk – (East Kilbride)

Location:  Kilbride Hospice Atrium, McGuinness Way, G75 8GJ

Information: South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership and local partners offer 1:1 advice about a range of health and social care topics.   No referral of appointment needed

Hillhouse Community Hub (run by Community Links)

Location: Hillhouse Parish Church, Clarkwell Road, Hamilton
Time: 11.00am -1.30pm
Information: Get cosy and join us every week for free refreshments and a toastie or a bowl of soup. For challenge Poverty week there will be free soup packs available to mark the seasonal change.
