Val de Souza, Director of Health and Social Care for South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, has written a guest blog for The Health and Social Care Academy. The Academy is a cross-sectoral platform for transformational change using the voice of lived experience. Ms de Souza penned the thought-provoking blog to coincide with co-production week. Co-production is focussed on combining mutual strengths and capacities of agencies, partners and communities with the aim of achieving positive change.
