How to apply
You can be eligible for a disabled National Entitlement Card (the concessionary travel card) from the age of 5 years and onwards.
The process is managed by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. Application forms for the disabled concessionary card and the +1 companion card are available from the following locations:
In order to apply you will need to provide:
- a recent passport-style colour photograph
- current documentary evidence of your age
- current documentary evidence of your disability
- proof of your current address
Full details of acceptable types of documentary evidence can be found on the front page of the application form. Once you have completed your application form you should take it, along with the items above, in person to one of the above locations.
Once your application has been processed by SPT, your card will be posted to you.
