Regeneration Capital Grant Fund

The Regeneration Capital Grant Fund (RCGF) is a Scottish Government fund that supports locally developed regeneration projects involving local communities, helping to support and create jobs and build sustainable communities. Applications are open to all of Scotland’s local authorities.

The Regeneration Capital Grant Fund streamlines the funding previously delivered through the Vacant and Derelict Investment Programme and the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund to support place-based community-led regeneration in our most disadvantaged communities.

The RCGF will support the provision of new infrastructure, enhance existing infrastructure, and help to tackle persistent vacant and derelict land to deliver large-scale transformational change with strong regeneration outcomes.

• demonstrate clear community involvement
• deliver large scale transformational change
• encourage additional investment and address market failure

Expressions of interest

Our deadline for expressions of interest (EOIs) is Wednesday 18 June 2025. To request a form, please email FundingAndDevelopment@southlanarkshire.gov.uk.

EOIs should include the following:

• project outline EOI using template
• location of the project site (including postcode)
• anticipated project costs
• detail of match funding identified
• detail of site ownership
• a copy of the business plan/feasibility study if available  

We are unable to provide direct support in developing community-led bids, but will review all expressions of interest and may not progress those that do not meet the required criteria or are not sufficiently developed.
