Park informationJames Hamilton Heritage Park is a 4 Star Visit Scotland accredited activity centre. The park features a 16 acre loch which provides beautiful and tranquil suroundings for our exciting range of water sports, from canoeing to windsurfing. Visitors can also a childrens play area, several picnic areas, bird sanctuary.
Play area informationThe play areas offer equipment suitable for both toddlers and juniors and was enhanced in 2017.
Play area accessThere is a path network around the loch but access may be limited to junior section due to bark surfacing and levels.
Additional informationThe site is managed by South Lanarkshire Council however South Lanarkshire Leisure and Cultural Trust are responsible for buildings and bookable facilities. There is access to walks around the loch and cafe / toilets during advertised opening hours which are seasonal.
