| About us | LRCC has been supporting women and girls in Lanarkshire since 2004 and we continue to hold the same values since we were first established. Our specialist service delivers emotional, practical and justice advocacy support to women and girls (12ys+) who have been subjected to any form of sexual violence no matter how long ago it happened. We can also offer individual crisis support and advocacy services to all survivors (12yrs+). We are committed to empowering women and girls in every aspect of their lives, amplifying their voices, upholding their rights to live free from harm and abuse and to champion free speech in our campaigns to prevent forms of male violence and sexual violence against women and girls. |
| Our Wish | LRCC is requesting your support through financial, gift cards, or goods donation to support our brand new Group Work Project. Our groups at LRCC offer supportive, trauma informed spaces where survivors can build wellbeing, confidence, and connection at their own pace. The focus is on providing practical support through creative activities, shared learning, and gentle wellbeing tools, rather than on personal disclosure. Groups are designed to be low pressure and accessible. People can take part in ways that feel safe for them, whether that is through hands on creativity, structured wellbeing sessions, or simply being alongside others. The purpose of our groupwork is to reduce isolation, support emotional regulation, and create opportunities for grounding, learning, and reconnection in a safe and respectful environment. In order to achieve this essential work- we will require a variety of goods to make this possible (Paints, card, board, pens, glue gun etc etc) |
