Manage your child’s school information online

Parentsportal.scot is a secure online service that helps you stay involved in your child’s education. You can use it to access school information, complete tasks, and receive updates at a time that suits you.

Instead of relying on paper forms sent home in school bags, parentsportal lets you manage everything in one place.

What you can do

With parentsportal.scot, you can:

  • view your child’s school information and updates
  • check attendance
  • read school reports
  • book parents’ evening appointments
  • pay for school meals
  • update your contact details
  • apply for services such as free bus travel

The service helps you keep track of important information without missing letters or deadlines.

How to register

To get started:

  1. Go to parentsportal.scot
  2. Sign in using your myaccount (MyGovScot) login, or create an account
  3. Follow the steps to link your child

To link your child, your details must match the information held by the school.

Important information

  • you will not be able to link a child starting Primary 1 or S1 until their first day of term
  • each parent or carer should create their own account
  • the system is secure and protects your personal data
