We have taxi licences available in the Hamilton, East Kilbride, Cambuslang and Rutherglen area. You can apply online now. We give licences on a first come, first served basis.

Who can apply

You must:

• provide a wheelchair-accessible vehicle suitable for at least a standard reference wheelchair
• be a fit and proper person to hold a licence

What happens next

We review every application. If we have any concerns, we may ask you to attend a Licensing Committee hearing. They will decide your application based on its own merits.
