| Aims and Objectives | The Competence Initative adds value to the Council by providing links between the Councils aims and objectes, Service plans and individual employee development plans. Improves the communication process with line managers and allows for discussion of performance, competence, training and career development. |
| Conclusion | The initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to collect and analyse monitoring data to enable a full impact assessment to be completed. An action plan has been developed to do this and a full impact assessment will be carried out within 11 months. |
