| Aims and Objectives | The process of ensuring compliance with health and safety, maintaining the upkeep, ensuring evacuation procedures are in place and the security of the main corporate properties on behalf of employees, Members, visitors, and the general public.

| Conclusion | This initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to consult on and monitor the plan to enable a full assessment to be completed. An action plan has been developed to do this and a full assessment will be carried out within 12 months. The plan is intended to appropriately meet the needs of all users of corporate buildings and, to ensure that this is the case, discussion with appropriate groups will take place. Currently the plan may not meet the required needs of all users therefore, through involvement and consultation, we will undertake to improve the procedures that are in place.
