Aims and ObjectivesThe Council has a statutory obligation to provide support to Parent Councils, including funding to cover costs associated with the running of Parent Councils, such as clerk's fees, insurance and general administration costs. It is proposed to achieve a financial saving by reviewing the levels of expenditure incurred.





ConclusionThe Council has a statutory obligation to provide support to Parent Councils. It is proposed to achieve a financial saving by reviewing the overall levels of expenditure incurred and promote a more efficient use of funds. The conclusion of this initial impact assessment is that there are no adverse impacts on any part of the community covered by equalities legislation, or on community relations.
