| Conclusion | This initial equality impact assessment has identified the need to amend the policy to include the siting requirements for Gypsy/Travellers; and analyse monitoring data to enable a full assessment to be completed. The revised policy will be brought forward either as supplementary planning guidance or as an amendment to the Local Plan and will be subject to full public consultation. The policy also potentially affects people with disabilities but this is already addressed through the wording of the policy. Detailed design requirements, including disabled access, for new developments are addressed in other policies within the Local Plan. |
