Equal opportunities and diversity
Supporting equality in our services and workplace
We are committed to treating everyone fairly at work and when using our services.
We aim to create an inclusive workplace and community where everyone is respected and supported. We work with partners across Lanarkshire to support this.
We do this by preventing discrimination, promoting equal opportunities and making sure our services meet the needs of all residents.
If you have feedback or concerns, you can contact us using our complaints process.
Our commitment
- treat everyone with dignity and respect
- prevent discrimination, harassment and victimisation
- support equal opportunities for all
- build positive relationships across our communities
How we make sure we are fair
We check the impact of our policies and services to make sure they are fair.
We carry out equality impact assessments on new and updated policies so we understand how decisions may affect different people.
You can view and download impact assessments in our impact assessments directory.
