Auldhouse

Auldhouse Road is closed between South Shields Drive and Langlands Road from 8am Saturday 3 May to 8pm Sunday 4 May for BT installation works. Diversion via Auldhouse Road, Burnhouse Road, Shields Road, Auldhouse Road and vice versa.

Low Kype Road is closed between Struthers Highway and Gillbank Farm from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 22 July for BT apparatus maintenance works. Diversion via Struthers Highway, High Kype Road, Low Kype Road and vice versa.

Biggar

Biggar Mill Road (at Ford) is closed between B7016 at Kirkstyle and Rowhead Terrace from 11am on Thursday 17 April for up to 21 days for damage assessment to the surface of the ford and to schedule repair works. Diversion via Kirkstyle, High Street, Park Place, The Wynd, Burnside Terrace and Rowhead Terrace. 

Blantyre

Calder/Westburn Road is closed between Blantyre Farm Road to Hallside Road, Cambuslang from 7am on Monday 13 January to 5pm on Sunday 29 June for roundabout construction works. Diversion route for vehicles under 4.6m – Blantyre Farm Road, A724 Glasgow Road, Hamilton Road, Westburn Road and vice versa. Calder Street is closed between Craig Street and Victoria Street on Thursday 1 May for patching works. Diversion via Victoria Street, Hardie Street, Craig Street, Calder Street.

High Blantyre Road is closed between Glasgow Road and Burnbank Road from Friday 2 May to Sunday 4 May for SPEN power cable installation. Diversion via High Blantyre Road, Burnbank Road Roundabout, Burnbank Road, Glasgow Road.

High Blantyre Road is closed between Glasgow Road and Burnbank Road from Friday 9 May to Sunday 11 May for SPEN power cable installation works. Diversion Burnbank Road, Pollock Avenue, Hillhouse Road, A725 EK Expressway, Main Street, High Blantyre Road.

Lochalsh Place is closed from Kyleakin Drive from 7am Monday 19 May until 6pm on Friday 6 June for footway resurfacing. Resident access will be maintained at all times.

High Blantyre Road is closed between Glasgow Road and Burnbank Road from Friday 23 May to Sunday 25 May for SPEN power cable installation. Diversion via Burnbank Road, Pollock Avenue, Hillhouse Road, A725 EK Expressway, Main Street, High Blantyre Road.

Calderside Road is closed between Newhousemill Road and Auchintibber Road from Wednesday 28 May to Friday 30 May for BT Openreach maintenance works. Diversion via Calderside Road, Sydes Brae, Parkneuk Road, Newhousemill Road.

Blantyre Farm Road is closed between Townfoot Farm and Jura Drive from 00.01am on Monday 26 May to 5pm on Sunday 20 July for roundabout construction works. Diversion via Blantyre Farm Road, A724 Glasgow Road, A724 Burnbank Road, Almada Street, B7071 Bothwell Road, Hamilton Road, Main Street Bothwell,  Uddingston Road, Main Street Uddingston, B7071 Glasgow Road and Blantyre Farm Road.

Cambuslang

Newton Station Road is closed between Westburn Road and Newton Station car park 10pm to 7am each night from Wednesday 7 May to Friday 9 May to install pigeon netting at the railway bridge. Diversion via Westburn Road, Hamilton Road, Hallside Boulevard, Village Road and vice versa.

Flemington Road is closed between Gilbertfield Road and Loanend Road from 10am to 12pm on Thursday 8 May for tank emptying works by Scottish Water. Diversion via Flemington Road, Stoneymeadow Road, Hamilton Road B7012, Hunthill Road, Bardykes Road, Glasgow Road A724, Hamilton Road, A724 (vice versa).

Manse Brae is closed between Westburn Road and Hallside Road from 7am Tuesday 27 May to 7pm Friday 30 May for repairs. Diversion via Westburn Road, Newton Brae, Westburn Road, Newton Station Road, Village Road, Hallside Boulevard, Hallside Road and vice versa.

Hallside Road is closed between Manse Brae for 230 metres in a westerly direction from 7am on Tuesday 27 May to 7pm on Friday 30 May for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Westburn Road, Newton Brae, Westburn Road, Newton Station Road, Village Road, Hallside Boulevard, Hallside Road and vice versa.

Langlea Avenue is closed between numbers 32 and 46 from 9am to 9pm on Thursday 29 May for Scottish Water manhole repairs. 

Newton Brae is closed between Grayline Avenue and Harvester Avenue from 7am on Monday 2 June to 7pm Wednesday 4 June for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Grayline Avenue, Wheatsheaf Drive, Harvester Avenue and vice versa. 

Westburn Road is closed between Newton Brae and Blantyre Farm Road from 7am on Thursday 5 June and 7pm on Sunday 8 June for carriageway repairs. Diversion via Newton Brae, Westburn Road, Newton Station Road, Village Road, Hallside Boulevard, Hamilton Road, Glasgow Road, Blantyre Farm Road and vice versa.

Carluke

Balcastle Crescent is closed between Chrichton Walk and 10 Balcastle Crescent from 9.30am to 9pm on Thursday 22 May for iron work replacement works by Scottish Water. Diversion via Balcastle Crescent, Brodick Lane, Stirling Avenue and vice versa.

A73 Stewart Street is closed from Glamis Avenue to A73 Kirkton Street at Station Road from 8am to 7pm on Saturday 14 June for the Gala day. Alternative routes will be signposted.

Mount Stewart Street from the Fire Station to A73 Stewart Street from 8am to 7pm on Saturday 14 June for the Gala day. Alternative routes will be signposted.

Belstane Road is closed between Sandy Road and Glamis Avenue from 10am to 12pm on Saturday 14 June for the Gala day. Alternative routes will be signposted.

Carnwath

A70 (from Carnwath to boundary by Tarbrax) is closed between Main Street and Stanemuir Road for short 15 minute periods from 8am to 6pm from Thursday 17 April to Friday 9 May for road realignment and carriageway resurfacing works. 

Coalburn

Coalburn Road is closed from New Trows Road to Shoulderigg Road from 8am Monday 31 March for up to 6 weeks for Scottish Water ducting and cabling works. Diversion via C202, Balgray Road, Carlisle Road, B7078, Birkhill, Bellfield Road and Coalburn Road.

Crawfordjohn

B740 from Crawfordjohn B7078 towards Sanquhar is closed between Gateside Road and Netherhill Road from Monday 16 June for up to 3 days for surface dressing. Diversion via B740, A76, B797, A702, B7078 and B740 and vice versa.

Douglas

The Loaning is closed between Ayr Road and Currie's Close from 8am on Tuesday 29 April to 6pm on Friday 2 May for BT Openreach manhole repairs on Ayr Road. Diversion via Ayr Road, Main Street, The Loaning or via Ayr Road, Colonel’s Entry, Main Street and The Loaning.

East Kilbride

Redwood Drive is closed between Eaglesham Road and Redwood Avenue from Monday 3 March to Monday 5 May for road alteration works. Diversion via B764 Eaglesham Road, A726 Queensway and A726 GSO.

Craigend Road is closed between Shields Road and Fieldhead Cottage from 7am on Monday 28 April to 7pm on Friday 2 May for carriageway resurfacing. Diversion via Craigend Road, Auldhouse Road, Burnhouse Road, Shields Road and vice versa.

Craigend Road is closed between Shields Road and Fieldhead Cottage from 7am on Saturday 3 May and 7pm on Sunday 4 May for carriageway construction works. Diversion via Craigend Road, Auldhouse Road, Burnhouse Road, Shields Road and vice versa.

Greenhills Road is closed between Eaglesham Road and the north junction of Borthwick Drive from Monday 5 May to Sunday 18 May. Diversion via B764 Eaglesham Road, Westwood Road, Westwood Hill and Lickprivick Road.

Hurlawcrook Road is closed between Langlands Road and Millwell Road from 8am Monday 5 May to 8pm Friday 9 May for BT apparatus installation works. Diversion via Langlands Road, Cleughearn Road, Millwell Road and vice versa.

Millwell Road is closed between A726 and Lairfad House from 7am Tuesday 6 May to 7pm Thursday 8 May for repairs. Diversion via A726, Greenhills Road, Auldhouse Road, Millwell Road vice versa.

Markethill Road is closed between Law Place and Cairnmuir Road from 7am Thursday 8 May to 7pm Saturday 10 May for repairs. Diversion via Law Place, Kingsway A749, Cairnmuir Road and vice versa.

Stoneymeadow Road is closed between Whin Place and Chapelside Road from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday 20 May for Scottish Water repairs. Diversion via Stoneymeadow Road, A749 Kingsway, A725 Hamilton Expressway, B7012, Hamilton Road and Douglas Street Blantyre.

Quebec Drive is closed between Sherbrooke Place and Montreal Park from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday 20 May for Scottish Water manhole repairs. Diversion via Raymond Place and Montreal Park.

Maxwellton Road is closed between Blackbraes Road and Bridie Terrace from 9am to 9pm on Monday 26 May for Scottish Water repairs. Diversion via Maxwellton Road, St Leonards Road and Calderwood Road.

Kittochside Road is closed between number 23 and Kittochside Farm from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 4 June for British Telecom repairs. Diversion via Waterside Road, Carmunnock Bypass, A727 East Kilbride Road, Stewartfield Way, Philipshill Road and Glen Road.

Blacklaw Drive is closed between Mount Cameron Drive South and Loch Loyal from 9am to 9pm on Friday 4 July for Scottish Water repairs. Diversion via Blacklaw Drive and High Common Road.

Spey Terrace and Spey Grove are closed at Mossneuk Drive from Monday 28 July to Friday 1 August for repairs.

Alder Avenue is closed between Cedar Crescent and Willow Way from Tuesday 22 April to Tuesday 13 May for footway resurfacing. Diversion via Cedar Crescent, Birch Brae, Hutchison Street, Low Water Road and Willow Way.

Abercorn Drive is closed between High Patrick Street and Abercorn Crescent from Wednesday 14 May to Friday 16 May for resurfacing works. Diversion via Chestnut Crescent, Johnstone Road, Gateside Street, Quarry Street, Duke Street and High Patrick Street.

Burnbank Road is closed between Glasgow Road and High Blantyre Road from 7pm Wednesday 21 May to 3am Thursday 22 May to allow access to a telecoms mast. Diversion via Glasgow Road, A725 EK Expressway, Main Street, High Blantyre Road, Burnbank Road.

Avon Street is closed between Quarry Street and Haddow Street from Saturday 31 May to Sunday 1 June for resurfacing. Diversion via Haddow Street, Woodside Walk and Gateside Street.

Cadzow Street is closed between Leechlea Road and Quarry Street (bottom cross) on Sunday 1 June for gully rebuild. Diversion via Cadzow Street, Lower Auchingramont Road, Muir Street and Castle Street.

Queens Drive is closed between Douglas Crescent and Clydesdale Avenue from Monday 9 June to Friday 13 June for carriageway resurfacing. Diversion via Clydesdale Avenue and Douglas Crescent.

Musgrove Place is closed at Kimberley Gardens from Monday 23 June to Friday 27 June for repairs.

Quarry Street is closed between Cadzow Street and Duke Street from 5.30am to 7pm on Saturday 5 July for Comic Con.

Quarry Street is closed between Cadzow Street and Duke Street from 5.30am to 7pm on Saturday 2 August for the Summer Pride event and market.

Quarry Street is closed between Cadzow Street and Duke Street from 5.30am to 7pm on Saturday 22 November for the Christmas light switch on.

Kittochside

Wellsquarry Road is closed between Carinmuir Highway and Carmunnock Road from Wednesday 21 May to Friday 23 May for BT works. Diversion via Cairnmuir Highway and Carmunnock Road.

Kirkmuirhill

Braeside Lane is closed between Braeside Crescent and Carlisle Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday 19 May for overhead cable works by Openreach. No alternative access for traffic. Footpath diversion route via Braeside Crescent, Vere Road and Carlisle Road.

Lanark 

North Vennel is closed at the junction with Hope Street for approximately 30 metres from 8am on Monday 14 April for up to 20 weeks to allow space for site compound, skips and deliveries during the refurbishment of Lanark Library. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works and residents will access the flats via the diversion. Diversion via Hope Street, Gallowhill Road, North Vennel and vice versa.

A706 Cleghorn Road is closed from number 36 Cleghorn Road for around 220 metres east from Monday 19 May for up to 3 days for carriageway surfacing works. Diversion via A706, A721, A70, A743 and vice versa.

Kenilworth Road is closed between Woodstock Drive and 30 Kenilworth Road from 7am Monday 19 May to 6pm Friday 23 May for SP Energy connection works. Diversion via Kenilworth Road, Woodstock Road, Woodstock Drive and vice versa.

Lythgow Way is closed at junction of Potters Wynd from Thursday 22 May for up to 2 days for carriageway surfacing works. Diversion via Potters Wynd, St Leonards Street, Kildare Road, Stanmore Avenue, Cleghorn Avenue, Rhyber Avenue, Forrest Road, Leechford, Laverockhall and vice versa.

Larkhall

Maitland Bank is closed from Burnhead Road from Tuesday 6 May to Friday 9 May for carriageway resurfacing. 

Candermill and Marlage Road is closed between Broomfield Road and Hill Road from 8am on Thursday 8 May to 4pm on Friday 9 May for carriageway patching. Diversion via Hill Road and Broomfield Road.

Livingstone Gardens and Hope Crescent are closed between Burnside Place and Argyll Gardens from Monday 19 May to Friday 23 May for resurfacing.

Caledonian Road is closed from the junction with Raploch Street for around 50 meters from Monday 12 May to Monday 26 May for SGN disconnection works. Diversion via Caledonian Road, McNeil Street, Raploch Street and Caledonian Road, McNeil Street, Union Street and Raploch Street.

Shaws Road is closed between Carlisle Road and 4 Shaws Road on Tuesday 27 May for resurfacing. 

Field Road is closed between Hareleeshill Road and Machanhill from Tuesday 27 May to Thursday 29 May for resurfacing. Diversion via Machanhill and Hareleeshill Road or John Street, Church Street, Muir Street, Margarets Place and Machanhill.

A71 Canderside Toll is closed from A741 Ayr Road to Stonehouse and A71 Ayr Road slip from Stonehouse from 8am to 11.59pm on Sunday 1 June for carriageway resurfacing repairs. Diversion via A71 Ayr Road, Lockhart Street roundabout, A71 Ayr Road.

B7078 Carlisle Road, Birkenshaw is closed between Canderside Toll and Middleton Avenue from 9.30am to 1pm on Saturday 7 June for The Apprentice Boys of Derry parade. Diversion via A71 Ayr Road, B7019 Burnhead Road, Keir Hardie Road, and Machan Road.

B7078 Carlisle Road is closed from the roundabout at Pentland Crescent to A72 Lanark Road end, and Hamilton Road is closed from the roundabout at Pentland Crescent to Hamilton Street, from 9.30am to 3pm on Saturday 7 June. Diversion to Larkhall - A72 Lanark Road End, Lanark Road, Cornsilloch Brae, A71 Ayr Road, Burnhead Road, Drygate Street and Wellgate Street. Diversion from Larkhall – Wellgate Street, Duke Street, A72 Lanark Road and Lanark Road End.

Lesmahagow

Strathaven Road is closed between Wellburn Avenue and B7086 Boghead from Friday 6 June for up to 3 days for carriageway surface dressing. Diversion via Boghead Road, B7086, Thornton Road, Carlisle Road, B7078, Teiglum Road, Strathaven Road and vice versa.

Millbank

B7078 from Millbank A70 to Abington A702 is closed between B740 Crawfordjohn and A70 from Wednesday 18 June for up to 4 days for carriageway surface dressing. Diversion via B7078, A73, A70, B7078 and vice versa. 

Ravenstruther

A70 Ravenstruther is closed between Silvermuir Road/Corbiehall Terrace and Ayr Road at number 4 Westbank Holdings from 9am on Tuesday 27 May for up to 4 days for carriageway resurfacing. A70 diversion via A73, A706, A721 and A70. A743 diversion via A743, A706, A721 and A70

Rutherglen

Fishescoats Avenue is closed at the Railway Bridge from 10pm to 6am each night from Thursday 26 June to Friday 27 June for bridge inspection works by Network Rail. Diversion via East Kilbride Road, Burnside Road, Blairbeth Road, East Kilbride Road, Western Road, Langlea Road, Brownside Road, Hawthorn Walk, Dukes Road, Brownside Road (vice versa).

Burnside Road is closed between Brownside Road and East Kilbride from 10pm to 7am each night from Tuesday 22 July to Friday 25 July for Network Rail bridgework. Diversion via Burnside Road, Blairbeth Road, Mill Street, Rodger Drive, Stonelaw Road and vice versa.

Hamilton Road is closed from number 60 to Stonelaw Road from 8am on Monday 26 May to 6pm on Friday 12 September for Scottish Water sewer works. Northbound diversion - Stonelaw Road, Main Street, McCallum Avenue. Southbound diversion – Calderwood Road, Dryburgh Avenue, Stonelaw Road.

Gallowflat Street is closed between number 27 and Main Street from 8am on Monday 23 July to 6pm on Friday 12 September for Scottish Water sewer works. 

Stonehouse

Sutherland Avenue is closed from Strathaven Road (service road) and Marleyhill Avenue from 9am to 11.59pm on Saturday 7 June for a street party for the gala celebrations.

Kirk Street is closed between 45 and 47 Kirk Street from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday 30 June for BT pole removal works. Diversion via Kirk Street, New Street, Trongate, Millar Street.

Strathaven 

Shawton Road is closed between Brechame Road and East Shawton Farm from 8am on Wednesday 7 May to 8pm on Sunday 11 May for BT apparatus installation. Diversion via Brechame Road, A726, Shawtonhill Highway and vice versa.

Muirburn Road is closed between A71 and Hunterlees Road from 7am Monday 12 May to 7pm Friday 16 May for repairs. Diversion via A71, Berebriggs Road, Millar Street C122, Alston Street, Jackson Street, Hunterlees Road and vice versa.

Breckonridge Highway is closed between A71 and High Brownside and Caldergreen Highway from 7am Monday 19 May to 7pm Friday 22 May for repairs. Diversion via A71, High Caldergreen and Brownside Highway and vice versa.

Glassford Road is closed at Hills Road for around 60 metres easterly from 9.30am to 9pm on Sunday 15 June for Scottish Water maintenance works. Diversion via Glassford Road, Millar Street, Alston Street, Jackson Street, Station Road, Bents and Station Highway, A723, Glassford Road and vice versa.

Breckonridge Highway is closed between East Breckonridge Farm and South Fieldhead Farm from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday 1 July for BT apparatus installation. Diversion via Breckonridge Highway, A71, High Caldergreen and Brownside Highway, Breckonridge Highway and vice versa. 

Thorntonhall

Peel Road is closed from Hayhill Road up to and including the junction of Holehouse Highway from Monday 2 June to Friday 13 June for carriageway repairs. Diversion via B764 Eaglesham Road, Redwood Drive, A727 Glasgow Southern Orbital Route and A727 East Kilbride Road.

Peel Road is closed between Holehouse Highway and the railway bridge from Monday 16 June to Friday 20 June for carriageway repairs. Diversion via B764 Eaglesham Road, Redwood Drive, A727 Glasgow Southern Orbital Route and A727 East Kilbride Road.

Uddingston

B7078 (from Cairnhouses C13 to Millbank at A70) is closed between Tower Road and the M74 junction 11 northbound sliproad for short 15 minute periods from 8am on Friday 25 April to 10pm Friday 16 May to install and remove the overbridge at Poniel.

Yieldshields

Tups Road is closed at East Coldstream for around 700 meters from 7.30am Monday 12 May to 5pm Friday 16 May for duct installation works. Diversion via Tups Road, A73, B7056 and vice versa.
