- Access is for South Lanarkshire residents only. Please bring proof of address
- Cars only apart from Tuesdays and Thursdays when standard-sized vans will also be allowed (Small transit vans only, this does not include long wheel base vans)
- single axle trailers on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- no trade waste
- There will be a queuing system. A limited number of cars will be allowed inside at a time
- once parked in a bay, only two people from the same household can exit each car
- you must stay in your own bay
- each bay accept black bag waste, flattened cardboard (but not paper), compostable garden waste, wood including laminate, soft furnishings, mattresses, carpets and underlay
- there will be a special bay for electrical and electronic items such as
- small household appliances - kettles, hair dryers, toasters, lawn mowers, vacuum cleaners
- large household appliances - dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers
household cooling equipment - fridges, freezers
- display equipment - TVs, monitors
- Last entry one hour before closing

The site closes completely for health and safety reasons when skips are being emptied/moved.
Vans or cars with trailersCars only apart from Tuesdays and Thursdays when small transit sized vans and single axle trailers will also be allowed - no trade waste
Health and safetyThere is no pedestrian access to this recycling centre and children/pets should remain in vehicles at all times. Smoking is not permitted on site.

Diversion detailsTo manage the high volume of traffic expected around the centre access to East Avenue from Hillhouse Road will be closed at the entrance to Red Burn Farm (access to Prospect Court will remain).
There will be no through road from Hillhouse Road to the Industrial Estate or B7012 Main Street. This is to prevent any traffic queuing on to Hillhouse Road.
There will be a signposted diversion as follows:
- Hillhouse Road heading west towards Douglas Street
- Turn right at the roundabout and head north on Douglas Street
- Turn right at the traffic lights onto B7012 Main Street and head east
- Continue on the B7012 Main Street under the A725 Expressway
- At the roundabout on B7012 Main Street at its junction with East Avenue, turn around and drive west along B7012 Main Street
- Turn left onto Central Avenue
- Turn left onto South Avenue
- Turn right onto East Avenue and join the queuing traffic
- Return vice versa
There will be a dedicated lane for cars to queue to access the site. This will be signed and marshalls will direct you to the queue. Marshalls will also direct cars to other businesses.
