| Project Description | The project aims to develop community capacity in the remoter and disadvantaged rural parts of the Lanarkshire LEADER area. This will be achieved by establishing a support framework that seeks to create a strong community sector capable of delivering a range of priority services, learning from each other and ensuring communities consider their own priorities at a community level. The project will operate in 16 communities in South Lanarkshire and 8 communities in North Lanarkshire and will aim to : • identify community stakeholders and engage with them • establish community project priorities through community action planning • identify the most appropriate funding for each project • work with groups to provide mentoring support |
