| About us | We provide care and support to people with dementia, family carers, and the local community through daycare and our Memory Café. We believe that people with dementia should continue to be an active part of their local community. We have our own fully accessible mini-bus, and regularly go on trips and outings with our service users. Over 300 per year, where we aim to keep people active and mobile, giving them the chance to exercise. This also gives the opportunity to connect with others; build relationships; reduce social isolation and loneliness; and improve mental health and wellbeing. |
| Our Wish | We have a fabulous advertising opportunity available in return for sponsorship of our daycare minibus. Our bus tours East Kilbride at least twice-daily Mon-Sat inclusive. It also goes on over 300 trips per annum, to places like Troon, Saltcoats and the Falkirk Wheel. It travels around 20,000 miles p.a. and into streets where advertising is difficult to reach. It is an economical way of advertising and supporting charity at the same time. Sponsorship of our minibus, which is vital to our service, would be rewarded with a fantastic advertising opportunity. |
