| About us | e provide care and support to people with dementia, family carers, and the local community through daycare and our Memory Café. We believe that people with dementia should continue to be an active part of their local community. We have our own fully accessible mini-bus, and regularly go on trips and outings with our service users. Over 300 per year, where we aim to keep people active and mobile, giving them the chance to exercise. This also gives the opportunity to connect with others; build relationships; reduce social isolation and loneliness; and improve mental health and wellbeing. We also have a secure, enclosed garden which gives much pleasure to those attending our centre. With raised beds and a bird feeder, it is full of colour and activity. It is the main entrance for our daycare and it is important that it is well maintained. |
| Our Wish | We are looking for a person or company to maintain our garden. The daycare centre has a beautiful enclosed garden with raised flower beds. The garden in our daycare centre is a great source of joy and pleasure to many. It is a mass of colour in the summer. The gardener will have a free reign over the garden to give a colourful and stimulating display. Tasks could include planning; sourcing; planting; weeding; pruning, general garden maintenance, power washing paving slabs etc. Tools will be provided. Tea / Coffee will be provided. |
