| About us | Ups and Downs was established in 1995 and provides a fun, creative outlet for children and adults with Downs Syndrome. We perform an annual weekly show in the Hamilton Townhouse displaying the fabulous talents of our cast via a bespoke show which we produce ourselves. We also have a team of volunteers who support our cast during rehearsals and show week. We undertake other fun activities when rehearsals aren't running, to provide our cast with suitable opportunities to perform within the community, reconnect with their cast friends and attend musical theatre shows. |
| Our Wish | We would greatly appreciate a financial donation of £500 to £1000 so we can continue to source show costumes for our performances. We have a total of 75 people who require three costumes each. Our costume team try incredibly hard to source sustainable material and second-hand costumes but with the cost-of-living, this is becoming increasingly harder to achieve. We reuse and tailor our previous costumes where possible, but as our shows are bespoke with different themes, this is limited. |
