| About us | We are a network of local churches in East Kilbride who provide love and care for people in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. Help is given freely without question or judgement. We provide a local food bank, which serves over 900 families annually; operate community stores and café hubs for 140 households weekly. We seek to address the immediate effects of poverty while at the same time supporting individuals to address the underlying causes of their situation. We are acutely aware of the unseen effects of material poverty, such as an erosion of dignity and self-worth, increased isolation, relational strains or breakdowns, a sense of hopelessness, mental health difficulties, and suicide. Our Main activities include: Providing Emergency food parcels, Providing hygiene and cleaning products, Community Cafes, signposting, and Community Store providing fresh fruit, vegetables, hygiene products, baby items etc |
| Our Wish | With rising demand for our services we are really struggling with our level of donations that we are receiving. Any help with food donations, strong bags, hygiene products (Shower gel, deodorant etc) would be greatly appreciated. Also donations to help us purchase electric and gas top-ups for those in need who attend our drop ins - Thank you |
