| About us | 3rd Blantyre Community Group (3BCG) was established as a SCIO in May 2024 to lead the community asset transfer (CAT) of High Blantyre Hall, aiming to bring a vital community space back into use for the benefit of local residents. We received the keys to the building in October 2024 and have since been working to make the space accessible and welcoming for all. Due to neglect, the hall requires some internal and external repair work, which we plan to carry out over the coming months thanks to funding we have secured. These repairs will ensure the hall is safe, comfortable, fit for purpose and more sustainable for future generations. |
| Our Wish | We are hoping to receive some comfortable, padded chairs for around meeting tables. Currently our hall has uncomfortable, old fashioned, hard plastic, orange chairs which are not ideal for meetings or events. We are hoping for at least 16, but more would be advantageous. |
