| Notice | South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Glasgow Road, Nerston Village, East Kilbride (Temporary Restriction to Right Turn) Order No 1. 2025” and shall come into operation on Monday 1 September 2025 and will remain in operation Friday 5 September 2025. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 2. Whilst this order remains in force no vehicles will turn right from Glasgow Road, Nerston Village onto the A749 Glasgow Road for reasons of Scottish Power installing their apparatus, between Kingsgate Retail Park and Nerston Village. |
