| About us | 3rd Blantyre Community Group (3BCG) was established as a SCIO in May 2024 to lead the community asset transfer (CAT) of High Blantyre Hall, aiming to bring a vital community space back into use for the benefit of local residents. We received the keys to the building in October 2024 and have since been working to make the space accessible and welcoming for all. Due to neglect, the hall requires some internal and external repair work, which we plan to carry out over the coming months thanks to funding we have secured. These repairs will ensure the hall is safe, comfortable, fit for purpose and more sustainable for future generations. |
| Our Wish | As we develop our newly acquired hall into a vibrant community hub, one of our priorities is installing reliable Wi-Fi. This will make the space far more attractive and versatile for the groups, organisations and individuals who rely on us. This is not a cost we are able to absorb at the moment, but with your support, we can create a modern, accessible environment that meets the needs of today’s users and helps us generate vital income for the hall’s future. |
