| Notice | South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, hereby makes the following Order :- 1. This Order may be cited as "South Lanarkshire Council (Borland Drive, Larkhall) (Temporary Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Order 2026" and shall come into operation at 0.01am hours on the 9 March 2026 and will remain in operation until midnight on the 10 March 2027 or until a permanent Order is in place, if earlier. 2. No person shall, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load at any time on that length of Borland Drive, Larkhall, both sides -from the extended east kerbline of Carlisle Road (B7078), north-east wards to a point 13 metres north-east of the extended north-east kerbline of Beck Avenue, a distance of 106 metres or thereby; and Beck Avenue, Larkhall, both side - from the extended north-west kerbline of Borland Drive, north-westwards for a distance of 8 metres or thereby. 3. This Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public, i.e. for reasons of road safety. |
