| Notice | South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:- 1. This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, A71 (Stonehouse Road), Strathaven (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) Order 2026” and shall come into operation between 0:01am 13 April and 11:59pm 18 October 2026. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 2. The restrictions will be in place during separate periods for up to three days. Exact dates will be confirmed by on-site signage at least 24 hours in advance. 3. Whilst this order remains in force no person shall permit any vehicles to park, wait or load on the lengths of road detailed. |
