| Notice | South Lanarkshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and by all other enabling powers, hereby make the following order:- 1. This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, A723 Motherwell Road, Hamilton (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2026” shall come into operation at 0.01am on 28 March 2026 and will remain in operation until 11.59pm on 5 April 2026. Order in effect between 8pm and 6am during works. 2. No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 |
