Access to free sanitary provision

 

The Scottish Government has continued to provide funding to ensure that access to free sanitary provision is available to those who require it.

We have been providing period products to public buildings, leisure and culture facilities and to various community and voluntary organisations around South Lanarkshire. 

We've got your period covered

We have teamed up with the social enterprise Hey Girls to offer free period products to all South Lanarkshire residents who need them, regardless of income or personal circumstances. There are various ways to obtain products.

Collect in person

You can visit one of our many public locations throughout South Lanarkshire to collect products. You can also find these locations and more by downloading the PickUpMyPeriod app which is available on Apple and Google app stores:

If you are unable to collect products from one our public locations, an online request can be made.  

The online form should only be used if you cannot collect free products from a South Lanarkshire location reasonably, and that you have no one to collect on your behalf.  An online request can be made using the Order free period products form.
