Garden waste uplift

This service is for bulky garden items that cannot be collected through your normal bin service.

You can request an uplift online and pay at the time of booking.

Cost of a garden waste uplift

A garden waste uplift costs £41.94. This covers up to 10 items per booking.

What we can collect

We accept the following items as part of a garden waste uplift:

• tree stumps
• bushes and branches, bundled and tied
• Christmas trees

These items are taken for appropriate disposal or processing.

What we do not collect

We cannot collect:

• bagged garden waste
• grass cuttings
• soil
• rubble

How to prepare your garden waste

To make sure your uplift goes ahead smoothly, please prepare your items carefully.

You should:

• place garden waste at the designated collection point
• put items out no earlier than the day before your scheduled collection

Leaving items out too early may be reported as fly‑tipping.

Trees, bushes and branches must be:

• cut into sections no longer than 5 feet
• tied securely
• light enough for one person to lift

How to book an uplift

You can book a garden waste uplift using our online form. Payment is required when you book.

Cancelling or changing your booking

If you need to cancel your uplift before the collection date, use the cancel option in your confirmation email.
