We’d like to thank you for your support on the consultation exercise we carried out, which received over 1200 responses. Please see the findings detailed in the infographics below.

We’re now looking at how the consultation can shape the development of the new Leisure Centre, and we’re continuing to explore available funding to meet the costs of the centre. Based on the consultation findings, we’ve started to look into developing the design of the building and we’ll be investigating the ground conditions on the site.

The consultation showed strong support from approximately 60 individuals who were interested in being involved in a steering group on the project. We’ll be contacting them in due course to get involved in the project.

We look forward to telling you more about the project as it develops.
