Get help to use the internet

Where to get online

Many everyday tasks are now done online, like booking appointments, applying for jobs, reporting a problem or keeping in touch with family and friends. If you need help to get online, or do not have internet access at home, we can help you find free support near you.

You can use our local libraries and other community venues to get online, use a computer or tablet, and get basic digital help. We also list free courses to help you build confidence using the internet.

Find internet access and digital support near you

Use the postcode search on this page to find your nearest class or internet access point in South Lanarkshire.

Once you enter your postcode, a map will appear showing nearby locations. Internet access points are marked with an “I”. You can:

  • click a marker to see opening days and times
  • check what support is available at each location
  • select your address from the list to zoom in on the nearest option

If you do not see any markers at first, zoom out on the map until they appear.

If you plan to visit a Universal Connections centre, please contact the centre before you go to check availability.
