Pitch allocation policy for Gypsy/Traveller site

We are asking for your views on our draft Pitch Allocations Policy for Gypsy and Traveller Sites. This policy explains how we will decide who gets a vacant pitch at our sites in South Lanarkshire. Your feedback will help us keep the process clear, fair and easy to understand.

We manage two sites:

• Springbank Park, East Kilbride
• Shawlands Crescent, Larkhall

The consultation runs for 12 weeks, from Friday 10 April to Friday 3 July 2026. We will review what you tell us and use it to update the policy before it goes to the Housing and Technical Resources Committee on Wednesday 2 September 2026.
