Complaining about a licence holder
How to report a concern about a licence holder
When you first complain we will ask for your name and address but these details will not be given to the licence holder - unless you specifically agree to this. However, if the complaint is not resolved and it is taken further, for example, to a suspension hearing, then the licence holder is provided with full details. This will include your name and address.
If you have concerns about a licensed premises or licence holder, you can report it using our online form. We accept complaints about civil, liquor, taxi and private hire licences.
What happens next
When you submit a complaint, we will ask for your name and address. We keep this private and will not share it with the licence holder unless you agree.
If the issue is not resolved and needs further action, such as a hearing, we may need to share your details with the licence holder.
