Trunk roads and motorways
Report a problem on trunk roads or motorways
Trunk roads and motorways are not maintained by us. They are the responsibility of Transport Scotland (Scottish Government).
If you need to report a fault, such as a pothole or damaged sign, you must contact the company that manages that section of road. This includes major routes such as the A725, A726, A702 and M74.
Who manages these roads
Transport Scotland appoints companies to inspect and maintain trunk roads and motorways. Different companies are responsible for different routes.
