Our committees and forums help make decisions about council services, policies and spending. Most meetings are held in public and meeting papers are available online.
You can subscribe to specific committees or meetings and receive updates when agendas, reports and minutes are published.

Watch committee meetings online
Some council meetings are livestreamed so you can watch them online without attending in person.
You can watch live meetings and view recordings of previous meetings on our SL Committees YouTube channel.
Not all meetings are livestreamed.
Council committees and forums
The council's decision-making structure includes:
- South Lanarkshire Council
- Executive Committee
- Resource Committees
- Area Committees
- Planning and Licensing Committees
- other committees and sub-committees, such as the Recruitment Committee, Appeals Panel and Planning Local Review Body
- member scrutiny forums
All committees, sub-committees and forums have cross-party membership that reflects the political make up of the council.
