As the ballot holder for the Discover Lanark Business Improvement District Ballot, I certify that the result is as follows:-

The return rate in respect of rateable values is 57.34%

The return rate in respect of ratepayers is 48.5%

The total number of votes cast in the ballot, excluding any votes given on ballot papers rejected 179

The aggregate rateable value of each relevant property in respect of which a person voted £5,679,750

The total number of votes in favour of the question asked in the ballot 135

The total number of votes cast against the question asked in the ballot 44

The aggregate rateable value of each relevant property in respect of which a person voting in the ballot has voted in favour of the question asked £4,655,100

The aggregate rateable value of each relevant property in respect of which a person voting in the ballot has voted against of the question asked £1,024,650

I hereby declare that the minimum return rates in respect of rateable value and ratepayers have been met and that the proposal to continue the Business Improvement District in Discover Lanark has been approved by the majority of eligible non-domestic ratepayers in terms of numbers of votes and rateable values.
