Road and lighting faults
Let us know about road or lighting problems
You can report issues on local roads and street lighting using our online forms or by phone for emergencies. This helps us investigate and carry out repairs as needed.
Do not use our form for trunk roads or motorways. These are managed by other companies and must be reported through the Trunk roads and motorways page.
Report a road fault
Use our roads fault form to report problems on public roads. You can report:
- potholes
- defective slabs
- footpaths or kerbs
- signs and street furniture (such as bollards and guardrails) that are broken or fallen over
- blocked road gullies
- overgrown hedges and other vegetation
- flooding
- defective footbridges, parapets and guard rails
- traffic lights
We prioritise and repair faults based on our safety inspection procedures and guidance manual.
When using the form, select ‘Report other faults’ at the top right to choose the correct fault type.
